Moulding Technician
- Install and remove moulds and set up work areas for production, including robot attachments.
- Perform insert changes
- Conduct production start-ups and prepare First-Off submissions for Quality Control (QC).
- Collaborate with material handlers and tool makers to ensure materials, inserts, and mould maintenance are ready in advance of production changes
- Work closely with Quality Control to address any issues/deviations in quality
- Troubleshoot moulding faults
- Trade qualified Die Setter (Certificate IV in Polymer Processing) or proven experience in die setting
- Ability to conduct production changeovers within expected timeframes and with accuracy
- Attention to detail and a commitment to completing documentation
- A proactive attitude towards workplace safety and housekeeping standards
- Ability to read and interpret production plans and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Willingness to work closely with multiple teams (QC, Tool Makers, Shift Supervisors, etc.)
- A scientific and continuous improvement mindset towards moulding processes
- Willingness to develop skills and build familiarity with machines and moulds over time
- A collaborative and supportive team environment across three rotating shifts
