The Position
As a Retail Assistant you will take pride in being known as a Sales Professional. A full time, permanent team member, can expect to be integral in showcasing the Midas Jewellery story and products to our customers. You can expect to develop and demonstrate strong business insight, driven to obtain strong sales results and profitability for your own and team sales targets.
As our Jewellery Retail Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Proactively communicating with our clients instore and over the phone
- Delivering strong sales results, while providing a memorable in-store experience
- Create exceptional in-store displays and maintain high presentation standards
- Providing outstanding customer service
- Providing a memorable in-store experience
- Creativity in designing a client’s unique piece of jewellery
You will also;
- Be personable and approachable in a strong sales environment;
- Familiarity with sales targets and KPI’s is desired
- Demonstrate a proactive approach in building clientele and brand awareness, capturing every opportunity to create new business for the store
- Create a premium experience and connect with customers to discover their own story; showcasing extensive product knowledge
- Complement our premium brand through impeccable personal presentation
- Creatively maintain visual merchandising standards and be proud to uphold brand representation through store maintenance
- Be motivated by professional goal attainment and growth opportunities within the store

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have outstanding retail expertise, and a passion for jewellery. You must also have:
- Experience in a sales environment in the jewellery industry for a minimum of 4 years
- Full/ flexible availability including Thursday evenings and weekends
- Driven to learn new skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team member
- Sound computer skills, including internet, point of sale, spreadsheets
- Confident and outgoing person with a professional appearance
- Ability to quickly build rapport with new and existing clients
