About This Role
At dnata catering & retail, payroll plays a vital role in supporting our people and operations nationwide. We’re seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our closeknit team in Broadbeach and help deliver accurate, timely payroll services across a large and diverse workforce.
This role suits someone who thrives in a fastpaced environment, values precision, and enjoys being part of a collaborative, supportive team. In this role you will:

Process endtoend weekly and fortnightly payrolls nationally

Conduct payroll audits, reconciliations and compliance checks

Manage onboarding and employee data across multiple systems

Interpret awards and agreements and apply pay changes accurately

Process superannuation, leave accruals and payroll adjustments
-
Support Labour Hire payroll processing across Australia

Respond to payroll queries professionally and efficiently

Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and accuracy
What We’re Looking For:

Ideally 2+ years’ payroll experience
-
Strong understanding of payroll legislation including: superannuation, parental leave provisions, workers compensation and long service leave

Strong experience with Enterprise Agreements and Award interpretation

High attention to detail and pride in accuracy
-
Strong Excel and systems capability (experience with Rockfast highly regarded)
-
Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
-
Proactive mindset with strong communication skills

Integrity, discretion and respect for confidentiality
