Pharmacy Technician

Employment Type: Full-time Monday to Friday (38 hours per week)

The Role

You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive pharmacy team, working alongside experienced pharmacists to prepare, dispense, and manage medications with care and accuracy. This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail and dedication directly support patient wellbeing. The work you do each day genuinely makes a difference!

Key Responsibilities

Medication & Dispensing Support

Assist pharmacists with preparing, labelling, and dispensing prescriptions
Support compounding activities under pharmacist supervision

Customer Service & Communication

Provide professional, friendly, and patient-focused service
Respond to prescription and pharmacy service enquiries within scope

Inventory & Systems

Receive, store, and manage pharmaceutical stock
Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and assist with ordering

Compliance & Quality

Follow all safety, regulatory, and quality requirements
Handle medications and hazardous substances correctly

Administrative Support

Assist with billing, payments, and general administration
Support the wider pharmacy team to keep workflows running smoothly

About You

Qualified or experienced Pharmacy Technician
High attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Strong communication and customer service skills
Comfortable working with pharmacy systems and documentation
Reliable, organised, and a strong team player
