About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who can lead from the front, manage bakery operations effectively, motivate a team, and maintain consistently high product standards.
· Lead the bakery team and oversee daily bakehouse operations
· Manage costs, wages, stock, and ordering to protect profitability
· Improve systems, reduce waste, and drive operational efficiency
· Build a positive team culture and support business growth with the owner
· Combine hands-on leadership with strong commercial and operational oversight
About You
Along with a strong work ethic, you will ideally bring:
· Proven experience leading a bakery, bakehouse, or similar food production operation
· Full Australian working rights - sponsorship is not available for this role
· Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to team performance
· Solid commercial understanding of costs, margins, and profitability
· Experience managing stock, ordering, labour, waste, and daily operations
· A practical, quality-focused problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment
