East Grampians Health Service is seeking an experienced Women’s Health Manager to provide strategic, operational, and clinical leadership across women’s health services, driving service development, improving health outcomes, and supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care within the region.

This is a full time position.

East Grampians Health Service is based in Ararat and Willaura (Regional Victoria) and takes its name from the magnificent mountain range that provides a backdrop to both townships. We are committed to providing quality care and services that meet the needs of the community, whilst continuously striving for improvement and aiming to lead the way in provision of health related services:

East Grampians Health Service is committed to meeting the diverse healthcare needs of the community through a comprehensive range of services delivered from our Community Health Centre in Ararat. We also provide outreach services throughout the Ararat Rural City Council and surrounding communities. Our services include allied health, dental care, community nursing, women’s health and home support services. In addition, the Community Health Centre hosts a range of outpatient clinics, including consulting rooms for visiting surgeons, maternal and child health programs and other external healthcare clinicians.

About The Role

East Grampians Health Service is seeking an experienced Women’s Health manager to provide strategic, operational, and clinical leadership across women’s health services, driving service development, improving health outcomes, and supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care within the region.

Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Women’s Health Clinic and associated services.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and coordinate referrals to appropriate services.
Lead multidisciplinary collaboration to deliver evidence-based, person-centred care.
Support and mentor staff while fostering a positive team culture.
Build partnerships with healthcare providers, community organisations, and key stakeholders.
Oversee service performance, quality improvement, reporting, budgets, and resource management.
Contribute to strategic planning, service development, and innovation initiatives.

About You

Relevant tertiary qualifications in nursing and/or midwifery.
Demonstrated experience in leadership and service management within a healthcare setting.
Knowledge and interest of contemporary women’s health issues.
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship management skills.
Experience in management, quality improvement, and program development.
Ability to lead change and drive service innovation.
Commitment to person-centred care and improving health outcomes for women.

Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks and NDIS Worker Screening Check).
