As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced 4WD Accessory Fitter to join our New South Wales team (location: Unit 1/70 Southwell Road, Oran Park, NSW 2570).
About the Role:
As an 4WD Accessory Fitter at HAMER 4X4, you will be responsible for installation and fitment of all Hamer products, including but not limited to bull bars, suspension and electrical components. You are a driven and dedicated individual who will use tools and equipment safely and report any faults or damage immediately. You are capable to troubleshoot electrical issues with the vehicles. You can work independently and as part of the workshop team.
What you will be doing:
- Completing installation of all current and future Hamer products, including but not limited to, bull bars, rear bars, steps, suspension systems, and electrical accessories.
- Conducting quality checks before, during, and after installation.
- Reporting product quality, technical, or design issues to the relevant department.
- Fault finding, diagnostics, and rectification of electrical issues.
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Complying with Australian Standards and workplace safety requirements, and all company procedures.
About You:
- At least two (2) years of relevant experience and/or qualifications in mechanical, auto electrical or a panel beating role
- Automotive 12V electrical experience/knowledge including electrical fitting, wiring, and installation of components on vehicles including testing of lighting systems, control panels, sensors, and ancillary equipment, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues (preferable)
- Mechanical aptitude specifically underbody (preferable)
- Knowledge of 4x4 systems, vehicle modifications, and aftermarket accessories
- Understanding of vehicle suspension systems and correct installation procedures
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
- Able to read and follow manuals: fitting instructions, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
- Ability to think on how to solve issues and create solutions promptly
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Efficient work ethic to finish tasks within the expected period
- Willingness to learn, improve and grow in the role
- Must hold current driver’s license

Remuneration:
This is subject to your skills, qualifications and experience, but it will be within a salary range of between $70,000 - $87,000 per annum + superannuation.
