Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a Senior Manager to join the Super Hornet and Growler Sustainment Program. This is a senior leader role that sits within the Sustainment Program's Leadership Team.
Program overview.
The Super Hornet and Growler Sustainment Program provides in-service support and upgrade services for the Royal Australian Fleet of Super Hornet and Growler Aircraft. This Sustainment Program directly contributes to operational readiness, preparedness and platform survivability and lethality.

- You will engage with a broad range of external stakeholders within the Australian Defence Organisation, United States Government agencies and Defence Industry
What you'll get to do
- You will be responsible for ensuring that the product support team of professional engineers, logisticians and specialty services practitioners successfully execute a range of complex sustainment activities and deliver special projects whist ensuring that the Super Hornet and Growler sustainment program objectives are achieved.
- You will be responsible for the engineering, logistics and special services of Super Hornet and Growler sustainment program.
- You will manage performance to ensure cost, quality and schedule requirements of all product support activities are delivered to meet and exceed program objectives.
- You will be responsible for the processing, planning and management execution of all engineering. logistics and special services within the Sustainment Program.
Who we're looking for
- Demonstrated skills in managing large scale, complex programs and projects to successful and timely completion.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully execute high-level management functions including customer liaison, business awareness with a track record of successful execution outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in a broad range of functional areas including project management, engineering, production, maintenance and logistics
- Tertiary qualification in a business related field, e.g. Program Management. Logistics, Finance or Engineering discipline
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in a Senior Leadership and Management role in a complex program.
- High level of customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- An aspirational leader, who values people and builds strong teams.
- Understanding and appreciation of a matrix-based organisation and the demonstrated ability to operate effectively within such an environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a solution to problems that are imaginative, thorough and consistent with organisational objectives.
