Trade Counter Assistant - Actrol Port Melbourne (TH)

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Reece Actrol branch in Port Melbourne as a Retail Assistant (known as Branch Staff), with the potential to being appointed into a leadership role with accelerated training. The training consists of tailored programs and initiatives, such as shadowing at multiple metro sites with senior leaders and expediting Reece specific systems training.

Retail Assistants are known as a Trade Counter Assistant at Reece and as part of the team in Port Melbourne, you’ll help engineers, project managers and other tradespeople access the products they need to maintain essential services, as well as undertaking other tasks that keep customers happy and the branch running smoothly.

Your day-to-day

A typical day involves:

Providing customer service and information about products
Providing quotes both in person and over the phone
Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities
Help keep the branch tidy and safe
Continue upskilling with tailored on the job training initiatives

We’d love to hear from you if you’re someone who:

Has previous experience in retail sales or customer service and enjoys helping customers both in person and over the phone
Can pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information provided is accurate
Can use a computer and is happy to learn new systems
Wants to develop their career - either locally or within the broader network.
