We’re searching the globe for warm, compassionate, and adventurous Dialysis Nurses. Our mission is to improve the lives of people with renal failure, reunite families and reduce the impact of kidney disease across our communities. We need skilled dialysis nurses to provide dialysis services in any one of our 20 remote clinics across the Northern Territory, South Australia and Western Australia – places rich in culture, amazing people, and beautiful landscapes.

About Us
Over 22 years ago, we began with a knock-out exhibition at the Art Gallery of NSW that raised over a million dollars. People from one of the remotest and most beautiful parts of the desert used that money to build their own organisation - one founded on caring, compassion and determination.
Our early focus was to get family members home to Kintore for dialysis, so they could receive care on Country, maintain their connection to culture, and pass on cultural heritage to future generations. It took time and hard work, but in 2004, Purple House started dialysis in Kintore, the first of its kind, and set a precedence for many others to follow.
Today, we're proud to support many communities in bringing their people home. We now provide dialysis in 20 (and growing) remote communities across NT, SA and WA. We also operate two mobile dialysis trucks and offer a range of culturally safe support services, including Aged Care, NDIS, Primary Health, Social Support, Wellbeing Programs, and a successful bush medicine social enterprise.
We have come a long way in two decades - and the next chapter is just beginning!
About the Role
We’re on the lookout for dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our amazing team! This is your opportunity to work as a Dialysis Nurse in one of our beautiful, remote locations across the Northern Territory, Western Australia, or South Australia.
We have both full-time and casual roles available, and we welcome international candidates - sponsorship is available for successful applicants!
In this rewarding role, you will:

Deliver high-quality dialysis care in our welcoming, community-based facilities
- Coordinate care for patients with complex health needs, making a meaningful difference in their lives
- Provide education and training to patients and their families, supporting well-being and promoting self-care
- Operate your own clinic outside of the hospital environment — taking ownership and making a real impact in a community-led healthcare setting

- You have a minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in haemodialysis.
- You’re currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- You hold a valid Australian driver’s licence or a current international driver’s licence recognised in Australia
