Event Organiser/ Event Manager – Lasseters Hotel Casino | Alice Springs, NT

Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $68,865 – $80,000 (depending on experience and skill set)
Location: Alice Springs, NT

Lasseters - Alice Springs Convention Centre is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Event Organiser / Event Manager to join our team. These roles play a key part in delivering exceptional events across the Alice Springs Convention Centre, hotel venues, and wider Lasseters property. You will ensure event details are communicated clearly and professionally, coordinate all logistics, conduct venue familiarisations, meet with clients, and collaborate with internal departments to deliver seamless and memorable events.

About the Role

Coordinate all aspects of events from initial enquiry through to execution
Prepare detailed event documentation and communicate requirements to relevant departments
Organise client familiarisations, venue inspections, and appointments
Meet and greet event organisers, providing exceptional customer service and support
Liaise with F&B, Operations and AV teams to ensure smooth event delivery
Manage event logistics, timelines, room setups, and client expectations
Handle event administration including proposals, confirmations, run sheets, and financial summaries
Maintain Lasseters’ reputation as a leading venue for conferences, functions, and special events

What We’re Looking For

Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication
Outstanding customer service capability
Integrity, professionalism, and strong work ethic
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

Experience & Qualifications

Relevant qualification equivalent to an AQF Diploma, with 2 years of experience
Qualifications in hospitality, hotel administration, events, or similar fields
Experience in hospitality or customer service
Demonstrated event management experience
Entry-level financial competency and understanding of event costings
Office administration experience
Experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or Protel
Competence in MYOB, Microsoft Word, and Excel
