Beginnings Early Learners is currently seeking a passionate, reliable, and experienced Chef to join our team on a full-time basis.

Position Details

Position: Full-Time Chef

Location: Alfredton, VIC

Salary: $77,000 per year excluding superannuation

Employment Type: Full-Time

Qualifications & Experience

Must hold relevant Diploma plus 1 year relevant work experience.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play an important role in providing healthy, nutritious, and high-quality meals for children within our early learning environment. This position involves planning and preparing daily meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines and children’s nutritional requirements while ensuring meals are prepared in a safe, hygienic, and timely manner.

The role also includes maintaining kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards, monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, managing food storage, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. The Chef will work closely with educators and management to accommodate dietary needs, allergies, and cultural requirements while creating enjoyable and balanced meal experiences for children.

We are looking for someone who is organised, passionate about cooking, able to work independently, and committed to maintaining a positive and professional kitchen environment.
