Greendale Timbers is one of Sydney’s longest-standing family-owned timber yards, proudly operating from our original Brookvale site since 1979. We supply a broad range of customers, including construction companies, builders, cabinetmakers, carpenters, joiners, homeowners, handypersons, and students.
We are currently seeking a team member to join us in a Customer Service & Yard Assistant role.
About the Role
This position involves assisting customers, preparing orders, and supporting the day-to-day operations of our timber yard.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service
- Receiving and checking incoming stock against delivery dockets
- Preparing and organising orders for pick-up and delivery
- Maintaining a clean and orderly yard
- Complying with Work Health & Safety requirements and company policies
About You
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and able to complete tasks accurately, safely, and on time
- Forklift licence (desirable)
- Timber industry experience (preferred but not essential)
