We are recruiting a small number of highly capable Support Workers to join a structured support environment working alongside individuals with complex psychosocial, behavioural and mental health support needs.
This role will particularly suit support workers who are naturally engaging, relationship-focused and enjoy community-based activities and outdoor interests such as fishing, walking, driving or recreational outings. We are seeking professionals who understand the value of meaningful engagement, consistency and trust-building in supporting long-term outcomes.
This is a high-intensity role suited to experienced professionals who are calm under pressure, emotionally regulated, confident working within structured support models, and able to build genuine therapeutic rapport while maintaining strong professional boundaries.
This role is not suited to entry-level or developing support workers.
The Environment
You will be working within a clinically informed support model requiring:

The Role
This role involves providing highly individualised support within a structured, clinically informed environment supporting complex psychosocial and behavioural needs.
You will be responsible for delivering calm, consistent and relationship-focused support across both community access and home-based environments. The role requires a strong focus on trust-building, emotional regulation, behavioural awareness and meaningful participant engagement.
Supports may include:
- Community access and recreational engagement
- Building consistent routines and structured support approaches
- Supporting emotional regulation and reducing environmental escalation
- Personal care and home-based assistance
- Working within 1:1 and at times 2:1 support models
- Observing and responding to fluctuations in presentation and functional capacity
- Maintaining accurate documentation and clear communication with leadership teams
This is a highly dynamic support environment requiring patience, flexibility, emotional maturity and strong situational judgement.
Success in this role will come from your ability to remain calm, consistent and engaged while building genuine therapeutic rapport and maintaining clear professional boundaries.

Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in disability, SIL, mental health or complex behavioural support environments
- Demonstrated experience supporting behaviours of concern
- Strong practical BSP implementation experience
- Proven ability to remain calm and non-reactive during escalation
- Strong understanding of professional boundaries and consistency in support delivery
- Confidence working autonomously while remaining accountable to structured support frameworks

Pay: $25.04 – $51.05 per hour
