Ready for your next challenge at one of Brisbane’s most loved nightclubs? Retro’s is seeking a motivated and approachable Venue Manager to join our supportive, hands-on team.

Perfect for an experienced Assistant Venue Manager ready to step up, this role suits someone who leads from the floor, takes ownership, and builds a positive team culture.

Located in the heart of Brisbane's Fortitude Valley, Retro’s delivers iconic nights soundtracked by the best of the ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s. A favourite with locals and tourists alike, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere.

As Venue Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations, lead and develop the team, and ensure consistent, high-quality service every night.

Generous Salary $90,000k - $95,000k plus Super
Quarterly KPI Bonus $44,000

Essential requirements:

2+ years of Management experience in a similar venue
Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems
Understanding of P&Ls, COGs & GPs
Ability to generate revenue-building ideas throughout all aspects of the business
Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
Write and control an effective roster
Ability to stocktake and investigate stock loss
Hold a current RLMV & Approved Managers license
