Status:
Temporary, Full-Time (18 months with possibility of extension)
Salary range:
Level 3.1 to 5.4 ($72,448.54 to $91,700.48 per annum) dependent on skills, knowledge and experience.
Opportunity:
The City of Albany’s Development Information Services Team is looking for a professional and customer focused individual to take up the role of Information Officer.
Reporting to the Senior Development Information Officer, this dynamic role is responsible for providing high-quality administrative support to the Development Services team. The role involves responding to customer enquiries, receiving and processing applications, and providing accurate information on planning, building and development processes and requirements.
About You:
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate experience working in a customer service and/or administration position, with an understanding of local government and/or the building and planning industries. The successful applicant will have experience working within a busy team environment, strong time management and organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise and schedule their own workload to meet deadlines. Strong computer literacy, data entry skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are also required.
