Position: Full-Time Cook Location: St Peters, South Australia Business: Sushi Train St Peters Station Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience) About Us Sushi Train St Peters Station is a well-established Japanese restaurant located in St Peters, South Australia. We are known for delivering fresh, high-quality sushi and Japanese cuisine in a fast-paced and customer-focused dining environment. Our menu includes sushi, sashimi, rolls, hot dishes and other Japanese favourites, prepared using fresh ingredients and consistent techniques. We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team on a fulltime basis. This role is essential to maintaining food quality, kitchen efficiency, and smooth daily operations. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook a range of Japanese dishes, including sushi, rolls and hot menu items, in accordance with established recipes and standards Assist with daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency and quality Prepare ingredients, including rice, seafood, vegetables and sauces Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards in compliance with regulations Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods Ensure kitchen equipment and work areas are kept clean and well maintained Requirements Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery At least 1 year of relevant full-time experience as a Cook or similar role Experience in Japanese cuisine or sushi preparation is highly regarded Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Good communication skills and a positive team attitude

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
