About this Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Coating & Painting Operator to join our production team based in Wingfield SA. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in industrial painting who understands quality-critical coating processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare products for coating, including masking and surface preparation
- Mix paints and consumables accurately in line with specifications
- Operate the wet spray booth safely and efficiently
- Work within the paint kitchen, including paint handling and stock control
- Apply coatings to required standards, ensuring correct film thickness and finish
- Carry out cleaning and maintenance of the spray room, equipment, and tools
- Perform quality checks, including wet/dry film thickness and adhesion awareness
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping at all times
About You
- Experience in industrial, automotive, or spray painting environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Knowledge of paint mixing, ratios, and consumables
- Understanding of coating application techniques
- QA knowledge, including thickness measurement and adhesion principles
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications
