The Role

We are seeking motivated and dependable drivers who are passionate about delivering exceptional quality service. Whether you're an experienced driver or just starting your journey, Dial A Tow provides the support, training, and resources you need to excel.

As a Tow Truck Driver, you'll represent South Australia's premier towing service, delivering 24/7 assistance from depots across Adelaide and our regional centers. Whether you live north, south, east or west or anywhere surrounding hills and suburbs, you could work from home.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain MR-class or higher vehicles following legal and company standards.
Safely load, transport, and unload vehicles to meet company schedules.
Conduct pre-start vehicle inspections and report defects promptly.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inspections.
Interact professionally with clients to provide premium customer service.
Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.

Essential Requirements

MR License (minimum)
Minimum of 1 year MR licence driving experience required.
Mechanical aptitude and good fitness and coordination.
Current (or willing to obtain) National Police Clearance and SAPOL contractor clearance.
Valid Accident Towing Permit which can be obtained after hiring if not currently held.
Strong communication skills with excellent English and understanding.
Available to work rosters, weekends, and overtime.
Physically fit and reliable.
Must hold any valid Australian work visa or have legal right to work in Australia.
Must be able to drive any manual car and truck to fulfil the requirements of the role.

Preferred Attributes

Automotive background, or sound understanding of vehicle components and operation.
Problem-solving abilities and adaptability.
Experience in traffic management and or heavy vehicle operations.
Knowledge of load restraint guidelines.
