Full Job Description

About the role

As a Delivery Driver at KELSO TRADE CENTRE PTY LTD, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers across the greater Sydney area. This is a full-time role based in our Smithfield warehouse location.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to customers
Load and unload vehicles, ensuring items are secured properly
Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
Communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety protocols
Assist with general warehouse duties as required
Delivering building material around Sydney Metro area
Assisting in loading UTEs and preparing for next day deliveries
Assisting in hardware duties on site, when required
Heavy lifting involved

What we're looking for

Valid Australian driver's licence with a clean driving record
Experience in a delivery or logistics role
Strong time management and organisational skills
Excellent customer service orientation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical fitness to lift and manoeuvre packages
Good knowledge of Sydney Metro area (Advantage)
Must be available to work on Saturdays
Forklift Licence (preferred)
