Full Job Description

The Role McKinlay Shire Council is seeking to employ an experienced Final Trim Grader Operator to undertake a range of civil construction and maintenance tasks within the Shire. Key responsibilities of the role are inclusive of:

Maintain and service the item of plant in accordance with Council Policy;
Report promptly any fault or problem with an item of equipment to job supervisor;
Final Trim grading of new road pavement, resheets etc
Maintenance grading of unsealed road surfaces, road shoulders, open drains and road construction;

Essential Requirements

Final Trim Grader operating ability and experience in construction/maintenance of roads and drainage infrastructure
Current Construction Safety Induction Card (White Card)
Current Plant Operator Tickets/Certificates of Competency

Attractive Salary - Hourly Rate $40- $45 depending on experience. (Level 8, Local Government Industry Award – Stream B).
District Allowance
Five weeks Annual leave plus 17.5% leave loading
Accrued day off once per month
