Full Job Description

About the job

Quant Trader Developers are responsible for the design, implementation and on-going support of trading strategies. This includes applying quantitative financial methods to financial markets, developing trading systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, execute, maintain and evolve trading strategies as determined by their Team Leader or Head of Trading Desk
Define, analyse and solve complex financial market problems using quantitative methods
Use statistical and quantitative methods to ensure strategies are systematic and research driven
Collect, clean, and interpret financial data to find trends and patterns
Analyse, compare and report differences between test and live trading results
Build and maintain systems for trading, risk management, and research
Collaborate with other teams within Tibra to share data, insights, and findings
Support other trading related requests from Team Leader or Head of Trading Desk

Experience & Skills:

Strong skills in statistics, mathematics, or data analysis
Software development skills, ideally in C++ or Python
Experience working with large datasets

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably in one of the following disciplines (or similar):
Mathematics & Applied Statistics
Computer Science & Software Engineering
Physics
Mechanical, Materials & Mechatronic Engineering
Electrical, Computer & Telecommunications Engineering

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
