Full Job Description

Provide positive leadership and ensure the provision and delivery of safe day-to-day security and patrol operations.

$68,594.99 - $70,161.91 per annum pro rata + 12% super & salary packaging | Permanent Part Time 24 hours per week | Wollongong Hospital (TWH) | REQ672140 | Applications close: 5 July 2026

As the Senior Security Staff, you will perform a full-range of security duties including duties of a security staff member, demonstrated leadership to the Security Team, and training and development of security staff within a team environment. You will also demonstrate initiative and sound judgement in relation to the direction, management and assessment of security risks and incidents within the hospital site. In this position you will be responsible for the review and preparation of documentation, including documents related to security or patrol incidents, or rostering approvals and supervision of the Security Team.

Wollongong Hospital is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
