Additional Educator:

Maximum Term, part-time position
24 hours per week
Monday, Thursday and Friday (8 hours per day)

Right now, we're looking for an Additional Educator (Certificate III Qualified) for our Port Kembla Community Preschool – an ‘Exceeding NQS' rated service. Our educational program is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework; ‘Belonging, Being and Becoming' and we are committed to developing children's awareness of the world around them. Through the creative arts and music, the children are involved in learning multicultural language and music from various cultures on a daily basis.

We have a transition to school program which promotes the development of both emotional and academic skills. We take annual excursions to our local public school as part of our transition to school program.

Lastly, we love our school borrowing library to foster language and literacy skills as well as encourage the love of books.

As an Early Childhood Educator, you'll play a critical role in shaping young minds. You'll create happy, healthy relationships between a child and the most important people in their lives. You'll bring fun, laughter and play to each day, but most importantly, you'll create magical moments for children to experiment and grow.

A cleared valid for paid work, NSW working with Children's Check (WWCC)
A cleared National Criminal Record Check
Demonstrated commitment to protecting all children from abuse, harm and neglect.
Demonstrated commitment to cultural safety for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families.
Evidence of completion of the National Child Safety Training Foundation Course
Details of a minimum two referees, where one must be a manager or supervisor at your current or most recent workplace.
