Performance Marketer (Media Buying & Account Management)

Location: Enmore, NSW

Job Type: Full time (100% In-Office)

Mad Lab Media is a fast growing, boutique agency specialising in high-converting online advertising across Search, Social, and Streaming platforms. We're a team of young creatives who build results-driven campaigns that have an immediate positive impact for our clients.

From media buying, creative strategy, and content creation, we handle it all, and we need another sharp performance marketer to step into the lab and grow with us.

The Role:

As our new Performance Marketer, you will own campaigns from strategy to execution, working with a client base of diverse brands.
Media Buying & Strategy: Strategising, setting up, and launching high performing campaigns across Meta, Google, and other popular digital platforms.
Funnels: Building and A/B testing high converting landing page formats and funnels.
Creative Strategy: Ideation, storyboarding, and scriptwriting for ad creative, keeping up with the latest trends and scroll-stopping content formats.
Client Facing: Complete management of client accounts. You'll work directly with senior stakeholders and founders, presenting trends and interpreting data.
Data Fluency: Deep understanding of key metrics, including CPA, ROAS, MER, AOV and LTV, and how they align with wider business objectives.

Must Haves:

We are looking for someone sharp and execution-focused who is eager to learn and grow. Please only apply if you meet the following:

Proven Track Record: A solid performance marketing background (ideally agency side) with a history of running profitable paid ads campaigns.
Creative: Understands how visual media resonates with a brands key audience and is up to date with the latest trends and creative formats. Understanding of Canva, CapCut and other popular creative tools.
Ad Spend Experience: Managed at least $1,000 a day in combined ad spend.
Platform Mastery: Deep understanding of Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, and the associated analytics. An understanding of AI and how AI tools can streamline your work and make you more efficient.
Growth Mindset: A genuine dedication to upskilling, continuously learning, and expanding your digital knowledge.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for building trust with clients.
Execution: Highly efficient, organised, task-oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects without breaking a sweat.
