What's the Role?
As a Graduate Sonographer, you'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services while developing your clinical confidence and technical expertise.
Under the guidance of experienced clinicians, you'll:
- Perform a broad range of ultrasound examinations appropriate to your level of competency
- Deliver exceptional patient-centered care with professionalism, empathy and compassion
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images and accurate preliminary findings
- Work in accordance with professional standards, clinical protocols and accreditation requirements
- Collaborate closely with Radiologists, fellow clinicians and support staff
- Participate in ongoing education, training and quality improvement initiatives
- Develop your scanning technique, clinical reasoning and patient management skills

To be successful in our Graduate Program, you'll have:
- Completion (or expected completion in 2026) of an accredited Sonography qualification
- Current or eligibility for registration with ASAR
- Full Australian working rights

Recruitment Process
Applications for the 2027 Graduate Sonographer Program will be accepted from
1 June 2026 until 30 June 2026.
Following the application closing date, shortlisted candidates will be contacted throughout July 2026 to participate in interviews with local hiring leaders and modality representatives.
Successful candidates will commence employment on
18 January 2027.
