Full Job Description

Oversee daily centre operations and create a welcoming family experience
Manage therapy schedules, payroll and key admin functions
Train, support and work alongside therapy staff delivering quality care

About the Role

This exciting position has become available for a motivated person who is looking to work in a dedicated team to support the smooth operations of a Community Therapy Hub. Centre coordinators play an important role in ensuring every child and family has a wonderful experience when accessing therapy at the Hub. The successful applicant will support a team of Senior Therapy Assistants and Therapy Assistants to deliver a high standard of service delivery. They will be responsible for operational and administrative duties including therapy timetabling, coordinating new client transitions into the program, staff payroll and communications. Centre Coordinators provide direct therapy activities with the children accessing the centre, support to train new staff and train others to deliver foundations and group leader training. The successful applicant will have quality experience in the delivery of relevant early learning programs, therapy programs or childcare and will receive specific training to become skilled in the delivery of the First Steps Program

About You

We are looking for a passionate Centre Coordinator based at our Shenton Park therapy hub working 4 days a week. You will have strengths in the provision of quality programs for children, leadership, and a passion for actively building a positive team culture.

In this role, you will have:

A passion to make a difference, that aligns the Autism Association of Western Australia’s mission, vision, and values.
Highly developed customer service skills to support our children and families to have a wonderful experience when visiting the centres.
Sound knowledge and understanding of autism, the characteristics, the impact and strategies to facilitate learning.
Minimum 3-5 years' experience working in childcare or early learning environments, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
High level of administration and organisational skills, including strong time management skills, a detail focus and ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic role.
Strong computer skills across the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and an understanding of databases.
Ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team.
Ability to work closely with other departments to coordinate the care and maintenance of the hubs.
Demonstrated experience in staff management, performance development and creating a positive workplace culture
