Roy Morgan is recruiting reliable, self-motivated people to conduct home visits (by appointment) to interview people in established households as part of the HILDA - Living In Australia study.
From July 2026 through to October 2026 Roy Morgan will be conducting their annual HILDA survey, with the opportunity for work beyond this period. This is a fantastic opportunity for people with research interviewing experience or similar skills gained in teaching, training, HR, performing arts, retail, or call centres. In fact, if you love talking to people, we’d love to talk to you! If you’re semi-retired or retired, this role is also an excellent fit.
What you’ll need:
- Legal right to work in Australia.
- 100+ hours of market research interviewing or similar experience.
- Available to consistently work 20+ hours per week across a mix of days/evenings and weekdays/weekends.
- A valid driver’s licence, and access to a reliable, registered vehicle.
- Hold a National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Clean and tidy appearance, with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Mature social skills and ability to relate to a diverse community.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
We want you to succeed and enjoy the experience, so you will receive fully paid training and ongoing support.
Successful applicants will have the potential to earn great rates:
- $38.50 per hour for the HILDA project
- $0.98 per kilometre for use of your own vehicle (where applicable)
- Reimbursement for job related expenses application fees for required checks.
