HammondCare Home Care is currently looking for Carers to join our team in the Mereweather, Mayfield, Lambton, Adamstown, Hamilton ,Waratah and Maryville.
Availability : 3 -5 full days between Monday to Friday from 7am onward
You'll provide essential, practical care for older people, supporting them to live independently in their own homes and genuinely improving their quality of life. This includes not only day‑to‑day care but also building meaningful relationships and offering companionship. The role requires travel to clients’ homes using your own car (you'll be paid $0.99 per km plus paid travel time).
Providing personal care - helping with showering and dressing
Helping around the home - meal preparation and light house cleaning
Providing transportation to appointments and assisting with shopping
Assisting with medication

- $31.95 to $35.44 per hour plus 99c/km + paid travel time + mobile phone provided
- full training to all care workers (no experience is necessary)

- you’re a people-person who is patient and solutions-focused
- you have previous experience in aged or community care, or are looking to start your career in aged care
- you have a valid Driver’s Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (min. Third Party Property Insurance)
- ideally, you'll have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. If you're not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help
- you'll be flexible around meeting the changing needs of home care clients
