Job Description:
Due to growth in the business, we are currently seeking the services of an experienced and motivated Dispatch/ Warehouse Store person to join our dynamic team. We are looking for an organised individual who can work well within a team, as well as having the ability to work autonomously. You must have an eye for detail with excellent communication skills and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Skills and Requirements:
- Experience with general administration duties – packing slips and invoicing
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Stay focused and work well under pressure
- Ability to adapt to changing situations
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Willingness to work as part of a highly motivated team with the ability to work autonomously
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Experience in a workshop environment highly regarded
- Some mechanical knowledge is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of Safety Requirements
- Physical capability to undertake manual handling tasks
- Intermediate level of the Microsoft Office Suite and competent PC Skills
- Experience using Shopify is highly desirable
- Ability to demonstrate reliability in the workplace
- Honest and effective communication is integral in our business' fast growth
This is not just a straightforward picking and packing role; you will be required to pick individual parts and then make up and assemble kits to be dispatched.
The position will be a casual role with consistent full-time hours (up to 38 hours per week), Monday-Friday between the hours of 9am-5pm, and opportunity to transition to permanent employment for the right candidate. With a set roster, we require candidates to maintain consistent and regular attendance. Initial probation will be for three (3) months.
The position is for an immediate start. Award rates apply.
There is also further opportunity for growth within the company for the right person, with the ability to move between roles and departments.
