THE OPPORTUNITY

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Production Team Member based in Ormeau. This position involves working as part of our Manufacturing team.

This is a full-time role, afternoon shift role (2:36pm - 10:42pm), working Monday – Friday .

RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with team members, other departments and projects as required
Interpret product drawings
Manufacturing and assembling of goods to customer’s requirements
Operating metal folding, roll form and pressing machines for our metal products
Participate in training for specific items of plant and equipment
Strict adherence to critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment

ABOUT YOU

Essential – problem solving and inquisitive mindset to learn Stratco products
Essential – strength and fitness to undertake a frequent movement and lifting role
Desirable – prior experience with metal processing machinery and techniques (e.g. SWI Operation, RAS operator, Brake-Press, SliNet, Blanking, Guilotine etc)
Basic awareness of safety standards and alertness of moving parts & people
Whilst experience is great, it’ll be your passion, reliable attitude and personality that set you apart
Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
