About the Role
A growing Registered Training Organisation (RTO) is seeking an experienced and motivated Floor and Wall Tiling Trainer and Assessor to deliver and assess the qualification (CPC31320).
This is a part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week. The successful applicant will be required to work across both our Melbourne CBD and Sunshine campuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality face-to-face theory and practical training.
- Conduct assessments in accordance with training package and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and assessment documentation.
- Participate in validation and continuous improvement activities.
- Support students to achieve successful outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with and the Standards for Registered Training Organisations.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant trade qualification in wall and floor tiling.
- Current industry experience in wall and floor tiling.
- (TAE40122 or equivalent that meets current regulatory requirements).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an RTO Trainer and Assessor.
- Strong understanding of vocational education and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current Police Check, or willingness to obtain one.
Desirable
- Experience training international students.
- Familiarity with student management systems.
- Additional construction industry qualifications.
