Mobile Device Repair Technician / Trainee Technician

About Us

We are Townsville's leading repair centre, known for high-quality workmanship, fast turnaround times, and exceptional customer care. As we continue to grow and expand into new areas, we're looking for motivated and attentive individuals to join our team.

Our team takes pride in restoring devices to their best condition, from shattered screens to complex faults. Whether you're an experienced technician or someone with a strong interest in technology and repairing devices, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, and other portable electronics. Your day will include:

Performing screen, battery, and charging port replacements across Apple, Samsung, and other major brands
Testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring all repairs meet our quality standards
Communicating clearly with customers and team members regarding repair progress
Maintaining a tidy and organised workspace while following safety and ESD protocols
Continuously developing your technical skills through hands-on training and professional development

Hours and pay rate will be determined by experience, skills, and performance.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. The ideal candidate will have:

A genuine interest in technology, electronics, or device repair
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
Good communication and customer service skills
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
The ability to think logically and solve problems independently

The following would be highly regarded but are not essential:

Previous experience repairing mobile phones, tablets, or other electronics
Familiarity with iOS and Android devices
Experience using diagnostic tools
Micro-soldering or board-level repair experience

Full training will be provided to the right candidate. We value attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn just as highly as previous experience.
