Uncle Don is a trendy and stylish Japanese casual Donburi restaurant and it's owned by the group, who manages some of Brisbane/ Sunshine Coast's best reviewed East Asian restaurants including a restaurant (Soka, Nonda). Working at Uncle Don is an exclusive chance to rub shoulders with top tier professionals who believe deeply in providing fantastic and memorable dining experiences.

We’re on the lookout for skilled and passionate Full-time Japanese Dessert & Pastry Chefs to join our kitchen team and help us create memorable dining moments.

3+ years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
Experience with plated desserts and the Japanese dessert/pastry section
A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery/Patisserie (highly regarded but not essential)
A passion for creativity, attention to detail, and delivering quality
An abiltiy and passion to make creative dessert, pastry dish
