Full Job Description

Next Level Commercial Interiors Pty Ltd (NLCI) is seeking a full time, qualified Cabinet Maker with experience in manufacturing custom made joinery

NLCI is a shop fitting company / commercial builder based in Thomastown VIC and we specialise in constructing hospitality, retail, office spaces and commercial renovations for local and national brands. We produce custom manufactured joinery for our fit outs and have our own in house joinery team and onsite building team to ensure consistency and quality of finish.

You will work closely with Draftsman, workshop and site employees to ensure efficient outcomes and attention to detail.

We are seeking an experienced cabinet maker who must have:

Joinery & Cabinetry expertise with a experience in making custom made joinery
Knowledge in Laminates, Timbers & Cabinet Hardware
Skills and experience in high detailed work and fine finishing
Self motivated, punctual, honest and reliable

Essential Requirements

Read, understand and work from architectural and technical drawings and cutting lists
Manufacture and assemble custom commercial cabinetry and joinery from Technical Drawings and Specifications.
Cutting, assembling, laminating, routing, and operating hand tools
Operate a range of machinery including Panel Saw, Edge Bander and hand tools to fabricate and assemble jobs
Pack, load and support other staff members.
Maintaining a clean and organised workspace to support efficient and safe work practices.
Report quality issues and suggest continuous-improvement ideas.

About You

Formal qualification in Cabinetmaking
Full Australian working rights
At least 4 years experience in a custom joinery manufacturing
Industry White Card
Forklift Licence
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing work to the highest quality standards
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Good communication and problem solving skills, reliable, punctual and safety conscious
A positive, polite and friendly attitude
Enthusiastic and proactive, with a flexible attitude

Position Key Details

Competitive salary based on experience
Regular hours (7:00am–3:30pm) with some flexibility and overtime as required
RDO accrual/ monthly RDO
Supportive team culture
Based on site in Thomastown VIC

Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour

Experience:
