We are looking for a Scheduling Coordinator to join our friendly and dedicated national aged care scheduling team. This is a full-time position located in Sunshine, VIC.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for the effective management, coordination, and data entry of rosters within the organisation. You will be responsible for administrative functions of the services, making and receiving phone calls to and from clients and stakeholders as well as processing staff time sheets. You will be part of a dedicated team, who look after ACT/NSW/QLD Salvos Home Care rosters.
Specific tasks of this position include:
Rostering
-
Dedicated agency booking tasks
-
Ensuring that the service is fully staffed for the work fortnight
-
Replace any unplanned vacant shifts
-
Ensure Kronos entries are correct
Payroll
-
Ensure payroll deadlines are met
-
Processing fortnightly payroll
To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:
-
An appreciation of and the ability and willingness to promote and support the values and ethos of The Salvation Army
-
Demonstrated relevant experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of the aged care industry
- Highly developed secretarial, administrative/organisational skills
-
Highly developed time management and work prioritisation skills with an ability to work unsupervised for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills with work colleagues, professional people and general public
- Ability to work as part of a team and liaise with people at all levels

Ability to meet deadlines
- An understanding and commitment to EEO, Affirmative Action, Anti-discrimination and harassment free workplaces

Well mannered, confident disposition
- Problem solving skills
- Customer focused, service oriented approach
Nice to have:

Certificate III in Business Administration
-
Kronos scheduling system Knowledge
-
Previous experience working in an aged care environment structure
-
Previous experience as a Receptionist/Administration background highly desirable.
