Full Job Description

We are looking for a reliable Baker or Pastry Chef to join our croissant and pastry production team at our busy artisan bakery in Fyshwick.

This role is focused on croissants, danishes and laminated pastries, including shaping, proving, baking and finishing products to a consistent standard.

You do not need to be a “croissant chef”, but experience in a bakery or pastry production environment would be highly regarded.

About the role:

Working in the croissant / viennoiserie section
Shaping and preparing croissants, danishes and pastries
Proving, baking and finishing products
Following production lists and bakery systems
Maintaining consistency, quality and cleanliness
Early morning starts required 4am to 6am

About you:

Experience as a baker, pastry chef or bakery production worker
Good attention to detailReliable and able to work early mornings
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Able to follow recipes and procedures
Lamination or croissant experience is a bonus, but not essential for the right person
