We Maintain It is a small family-owned maintenance and carpentry business servicing residential and commercial clients across the Gold Coast. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, reliable service, and building long-term relationships with our clients and team.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of ongoing work, we are looking for a motivated and skilled Maintenance Handyperson / Carpenter to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a supportive family-run business where their contribution is valued.

About the Role

You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance, repair, and improvement works across residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

General building maintenance and repairs
Basic carpentry, repairs, and installations
Plaster patching, painting, and touch-up works
Door, lock, hardware, and fixture installations
Minor tiling and property improvement works
Identifying maintenance issues and providing practical solutions
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service
Completing jobs efficiently while adhering to workplace health and safety requirements
Working independently and as part of a team
Maintaining accurate job records and communicating progress with management and clients

What We're Looking For

Experience in building maintenance, carpentry, or handyman services
Trade qualification in carpentry (preferred but not essential for the right candidate)
Current driver's licence
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage your workload
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional presentation
White Card
Ability to work across various locations throughout the Gold Coast
