Our client is looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) Senior Technical Consultant/Developer who specialises in developing and maintaining custom solutions on the Dynamics 365 platform.
This is initially a 6-month assignment, with the possibility of at least one 6-month extension and will be based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne, with hybrid working possible.

Background:
Our client has implemented the Dynamics 365 platform and supported by the broader Microsoft Power Platform.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the APAC Microsoft Applications team and help continue to unlock the benefits of the Dynamics 365 technology suite, with a particular focus on D365 CE and the integration between it and Finance & Operations.
Essential skills required:

7+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 CE.

A strong understanding of the Dynamics 365 platform and the broader Microsoft Power Platform.

Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) and Power Automate.

Mandatory experience designing and delivering Power Pages portals.
-
Proven experience configuring Dataverse, including security and access controls.

Demonstrated experience delivering solutions using Dynamics 365 Field Service.

Hands-on experience with Dual-write – configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting data synchronisation between CE and Finance & Operations.

Experience with programming languages such as X++, C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.

Demonstrated ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise solutions.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Consulting experience, including solution architecture, technical design, and stakeholder engagement across technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors or partners.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently on complex initiatives.

Able to manage multiple priorities within a large, enterprise environment.
Highly desirable skills:

Azure integration experience, including Azure Functions and Application Insights.

Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions.

Familiarity with enterprise governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
