dFENCE Security Fencing Pty Ltd is a rapidly growing fencing company servicing residential, commercial, and council projects across South East Queensland. We specialise in custom fencing, gates, automation, and security solutions, with projects ranging from high-end residential installs through to large commercial works.
We are currently seeking a motivated Junior Cadet / Junior Estimator to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to build a long-term career within the construction industry while learning directly from an experienced team.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist with preparing cost estimates and tenders for commercial fit-out projects
- Review plans, specifications, and project documentation
- Source pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
- Support senior estimators with take-offs and cost analysis
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and project budgets
- Maintain accurate estimating records and documentation
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and clients as required
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
- Site measuring and inspections when required
- General administrative and estimating support
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the industry
- Basic computer skills (Excel, emails, etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Construction or fencing knowledge is advantageous but not essential
- Driver’s licence preferred
