Full Job Description

Shan E Punjab Freightlines Pty Ltd is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Truck Driver to join our growing team on a full-time permanent basis in Perth, Western Australia. We are looking for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic, commitment to safety, and the flexibility to work across metropolitan, regional, remote, and interstate transport operations. Shan E Punjab Freightlines specialises in heavy haulage, transport logistics, and freight solutions across Western Australia and interstate.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Operate heavy trucks exceeding 3 tonnes to transport freight, cargo, and materials safely and efficiently.
Complete metropolitan, regional, remote, and interstate deliveries in accordance with operational schedules.
Conduct daily pre-start and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
Load, unload, secure, and transport freight in compliance with Heavy Vehicle Load Restraint Guidelines.
Operate HIAB/crane equipment to load and unload materials and equipment where required.
Verify loading documents, proof of deliveries, consignment notes, and delivery paperwork accurately.
Ensure goods are properly stowed and secured to prevent damage or movement during transit.
Maintain communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers regarding deliveries and operational updates.
Maintain work diaries, logbooks, run sheets, and transport documentation in accordance with legal requirements.
Report vehicle faults, maintenance issues, accidents, incidents, or delays promptly to management.
Follow workplace health and safety policies, fatigue management requirements, and road transport regulations at all times.
Maintain trucks and associated equipment in clean and operational condition.

Qualifications & Experience

AQF Certificate II or III qualification relevant to transport and logistics is preferred.
Valid Australian HR Driver Licence minimum (HC or MC licence highly regarded).
Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience operating heavy trucks.
Experience in heavy haulage, freight transport, remote driving, and interstate deliveries is desirable.
Must hold a CV (Vehicle Loading Crane) High Risk Work Licence for HIAB/crane operation, or be willing to obtain one and a dogging ticket.
Strong understanding of load restraint procedures, fatigue management, and transport safety requirements.
Excellent punctuality, communication skills, and commitment to workplace safety.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
