Davis and Brooks Building Services are welcoming qualified carpenters to fill multiple positions in our continuously expanding company. We cover a wide range of locations from the Southern suburbs to the Northern suburbs.
You will be working alongside multi skilled trades in completing works for a variety of our clients including but not limited to
Responsibilities:
- Renewing / hanging doors. Installing, repairing and replacing timber doors, door frames, locks and associated hardware.
- Renewing / repairing walls & Ceilings. Constructing, repairing and maintaining timber wall and ceiling frameworks, linings and finishes.
- Renewing / repairing decking. Building, repairing and restoring timber decking, pergolas and other timber structures.
- Renewing / repairing Eaves & Fascias. Installing, repairing and replacing eaves, fascias, cladding and other timber components.
- Renewing / Repairing sliding doors & window. Fitting, repairing and adjusting windows, sliding doors, frames and related fixtures.
- Installing kitchens, benchtops, cupboards and built in fixtures in accordance with plans and specifications.
- Measuring, marking, cutting, shaping and assembling timber and timber-based materials using hand and power tools.
- Carrying out general carpentry maintenance, renovation and repair work for residential and commercial properties.
- Undertaking accessibility modifications, including the installation of ramps, handrails and other structural improvements.
- Reading and interpreting plans, drawings and specifications to complete carpentry projects in compliance with building standards and regulations.

This position requires an individual who is:
- Relevant Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or Relevant Certificate IV. Alternatively, at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
- At least 1-year proven experience
- Works well in a team.
- Has great communication skills.
- Positive work ethic.
