We are seeking an experienced Financial Accounting Manager to lead with purpose, strengthen financial excellence and help shape the next chapter of our finance function from our Scoresby office.
This is a key leadership role for someone who brings strong technical accounting capability, a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to engage, coach and develop a high-performing team. You will play an important part in ensuring our financial reporting remains trusted, our processes continue to evolve, and our finance team is empowered to grow, contribute and reach their full potential.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Leading and developing people: Inspire, coach and support a team of finance professionals, creating clarity, building capability and develop the team to their full potential.
- Delivering trusted financial outcomes: Oversee the accurate and timely recording, review and reporting of accounting transactions to maintain a reliable general ledger and strong financial governance.
- Providing meaningful financial insight: Lead the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements and consolidated reporting that clearly communicates the financial position and performance of the business.
- Partnering with the business: Work closely with business stakeholders across functions to investigate variances, understand performance drivers and provide insights that support informed decision-making.
- Strengthening controls and compliance: Partner with internal teams to review, enhance and maintain effective controls, ensuring compliance, transparency and confidence in our financial processes.
- Supporting audit excellence: Act as a trusted point of contact for internal and external audits, providing clear direction, robust documentation and leadership across management and SOX compliance activities.
- Driving continuous improvement: Challenge the status quo by identifying opportunities to simplify, standardise and improve processes, embedding best practice and creating greater efficiency across the finance function.

What you’ll bring
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, CA or similar certification.
- Intermediate-level professional experience in financial accounting, reporting, and analysis.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including US GAAP, internal control frameworks, and financial regulations.
- Ability to interpret financial data, analyse complex variances, and communicate financial concepts clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capability to evaluate business processes, identify risks or control gaps, and implement effective improvements.
- Experience leading teams, managing month-end close requirements, and maintaining a strong audit-ready control environment.
