The Role:
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented HR professional with strong recruitment experience to support the employee lifecycle across JFD Australia and Cowan Manufacturing. Working closely with managers and Global HR and Recruitment teams, you will take ownership of the administration, coordination and continuous improvement of the employee lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding, ensuring a seamless employee experience.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to HR initiatives, have exposure to managing ER cases and supporting managers with day-to-day HR activities. Occasional travel to sites across Australia and flexibility to collaborate with global teams across different time zones will be required.

What you’ll be doing:
- Lead end to end recruitment activities in partnership with the Global Recruitment Team, including advertising vacancies, shortlisting candidates, coordinating interviews, conducting interviews with managers, arranging pre-employment checks and supporting quality hiring outcomes.
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers by developing position descriptions and providing guidance on recruitment best practice, ensuring a consistent and continuously improving hiring process.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding activities, delivering a seamless experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Provide HR advisory support to managers and employees, assisting with employee relations matters and workplace investigations in line with company policies and employment legislation.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, templates and documentation to ensure compliance and best practice.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, reporting and overall people practices.
- Prepare accurate HR documentation, maintain employee records and HR systems, and complete HR administration activities with a high level of accuracy, confidentiality and compliance.
What we’re looking for:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, combined with strong HR generalist experience and a proven track record in end-to-end recruitment and best-practice people processes.
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, HR policies and compliance requirements, with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively in a practical business environment.
- Highly organised with exceptional administration skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate effectively with stakeholders, and partner with managers to understand and support business needs.
- Demonstrates a high level of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality in all aspects of work.
- Proactive and accountable, with the initiative to take ownership of tasks, drive outcomes to completion, and contribute to continuous improvement.
