Architect – Remote Position

We are seeking a talented and experienced Architect/Draftsperson to join our growing team remotely for residential projects based in Melbourne, Australia with a prior experience working on the Victorian Australian market.
Position Details
- Position: Full time Architect /Architectural Draftsperson
- Qualification: BSc. Architecture /Diploma certifications in architectural design are also preferred
- Experience Required: 3–5 Years
- Industry: Residential Design & Documentation
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural drawings and documentation for Australian residential projects.
- Develop high-quality:
- Single-storey house drawings
- Double-storey house drawings
- Facade designs
- Elevations
- Sections
- Detailed working drawings
- Coordinate and revise drawings based on project requirements and council/building feedback.
- Ensure drawings comply with:
- NCC (National Construction Code)
- Building Code of Australia (BCA)
- Victorian local council regulations and standards
- Maintain strong attention to detail and drawing accuracy.
- Deliver projects within assigned timelines and quality standards.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of proven experience working on Victorian residential projects in Australia.
- Strong proficiency in:
- AutoCAD
- Residential drafting and documentation
- 3D visualization/modeling
- Excellent understanding of:
- NCC
- Australian Building Codes
- Victorian residential standards and regulations
- Strong detailing skills with an eye for:
- Facades
- Elevations
- Sections
- Floor plans
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Ability to meet targets and manage deadlines efficiently.
Assessment Process
Shortlisted candidates will be assessed on:
- AutoCAD knowledge and drafting efficiency
- Command over software for 3D views and visualization
- Understanding of Australian residential drafting standards
- Attention to detail and drawing quality
