We are seeking an experienced and reliable Roof Plumber to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work on residential, commercial, and industrial roofing projects, delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining strong safety standards.
Job description
As a Roof Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems, gutters, downpipes, flashings, and rainwater systems. You will work closely with site supervisors, builders, and other trades to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Install metal roofing, wall cladding, gutters, downpipes, and flashings
- Read and interpret plans and specifications
- Carry out roof repairs, leak detection, and maintenance work
- Measure, cut, and fabricate roofing materials
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and Australian standards
- Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain clean and organised work sites
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Communicate professionally with clients and contractors
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience as a Roof Plumber or Roofing Tradesperson
- Certificate III in Roof Plumbing (preferred)
- White Card (Construction Induction Card)
- Current driver’s licence
- Working at Heights ticket (desirable)
- Ability to read plans and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Good problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
