About the Employer:
ARB Corporation Ltd is Australia’s leading manufacturer and distributor of 4x4 accessories. Due to ongoing growth in our operations, we are seeking a spray painter to join our team at Prestons.

Position Summary:
This is a Full-time permanaent position, working Monday to Friday from 4:54am to 1pm. You will be part of a team responsible for the spray painting of automotive components such as bull bars, side rails, canopy shells, and ute lids. The successful candidate will work with a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supported with on-the-job training to grow your skills.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces and spray paint automotive parts
Mix and apply paint in line with specifications
Conduct minor defect correction and finishing
Detailing as required
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area
Maintain tools, equipment and booths in line with maintenance program

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:

At least 3 years of relevant, full-time work experience as a spray painter (or part-time equivalent)
Open to 3rd year apprentices, or recently qualified.
Experience in preparing and spray painting automotive or industrial parts
Familiarity with colour matching and finishing
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Formal spray painting qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology) is preferred but not essential
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work to deadlines and within a team
Good time management and communication skills
