We currently have multiple opportunities for trade qualified Spray Painters to join our advanced manufacturing site located in Port Melbourne on a full-time permanent basis. External candidates will be offered a $5,000 sign on bonus.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for Sealant application, product preparation and painting of various parts and products within the paint shop.

Position Responsibilities:
Prepare and paint aircraft parts following quality, safety, and process specifications using hand and pneumatic tool

Following quality instructions and detailed drawings through various computer system- s
Operate and monitor spray booths, ovens, and mixing processes in a production environmen- t
Maintain housekeeping, comply with health, safety, and environmental standards, and support continuous improvement initiative- s
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
Trade qualification as a Spray Painter is essential & experience in spray painting onto various substrate materials in a high-quality environmen

General knowledge of safety procedures and strong advocate of EH&- S

Additional Information:
This is an Enterprise Agreement position classified as an Aerospace Tradesperson 1. Candidates will be required to complete background checks and successfully complete a 3-month probationary period.
