Full Job Description

This is a full-time role for a Mower Operator working across multiple work sites both north and/or south of the river.

The Mower Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining mowing equipment, ensuring lawns and outdoor areas are managed to a high standard. Daily tasks include inspecting equipment for proper operation, adhering to safety guidelines, performing basic landscaping duties, and reporting maintenance needs.

The role ensures landscapes are well-kept and in optimal condition, contributing to the overall appearance and safety of the grounds.

Qualifications

Essential - Operate ride on mowers, edgers, whipper snippers and blowers
Preferred - Operate commercial cylinder mowers
Proficiency in operating and maintaining mowing equipment and tools
Ability to perform routine inspections and report maintenance requirements
Strong adherence to safety protocols and practices
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
Self motivated with good time management skills
Experience in grounds maintenance or a similar role is preferred
A valid driver’s license and the ability to operate vehicles as necessary
Physical fitness to carry out outdoor tasks in various weather conditions
