A place to make a difference:
In this permanent, part time (.8 FTE), you’ll work as a part of our Leadership team in Perth to help us create lasting change for children everywhere.
You will make a difference by:
- Managing key projects/ initiatives that help support metro and regional teams
- Providing high level support to the State Director and WA Leadership Team, including supporting the reporting internally and to our funders
- Collaborating with Save The Children group functional teams to strengthen and streamline key operational processes such as project implementation planning, fleet management, property management, contract compliance reporting and operational risk management.
- Providing inspiring leadership to a small administration team
- In consultation with the functional Senior Management Team, strengthen, streamline and design effective processes ensuring compliance and risk management and response.
- Collaborate with the state leadership team, Finance and group operations teams to ensure state-based compliance and adherence to organisational process and policy.
- In consultation with the state leadership team ensure effective processes are in place to identify, manage, monitor and support response to risks to program /service delivery, quality, staff well-being and Child Safeguarding

We're looking for a confident, adaptable, and highly organised operations professional who thrives in a coordination and leadership role. You bring demonstrated experience in program delivery, operations, or contract management, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across remote and diverse working environments will be invaluable.
This role requires:
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is the natural ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. We need someone who is tech savvy, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. A proactive problem-solver who takes ownership and accountability and can navigate complexity with curiosity and calm.
As the operational lynchpin for our WA team, you are equally comfortable providing high-level support to senior leadership as you are inspiring and guiding a small administration team, all while driving process improvement, compliance, and risk management across the organisation.
